Hello all!
Its been a while since my last blog post. Lots of stuff going on with work, kids hollidays etc, so just a little note to say whats occuring :)
Big news is that the album Drawing Trees on Paper is out now through Bandcamp, and it comes as a digital download, or you can get it as a rather fetching hand made cd that looks like a little record. Sweeeeet!
Tracks from the new album have also been played on some rather special radio shows and podcasts, including Loose Canon, CHUO One Extreme To Another show, Bluetown Electronica, The Synthpop Show and twice on the excellent and highly infuential Rusty Egan Podcast.
The FourPointZero monthly mixes went quite well, so we started a second monthly Podcast showcasing new artists called Shameless Promotion. This went so well that we decided to maybe do a 1 hour radio show every week. After talking to the rather amazing people over at Radio Aktiv, it was changed to a weekly 2 hour radio show. The Shameless Promotion Broadcast will air live on Mixlr every Saturday night at 8PM UK time.
Solstice by Pas de la Dame Sauvage has been featured on a rather excellent compilation, and here's the description from the Bandcamp page...
"Moments of Silence" is a charity compilation organized by Brad Zacharias (Carbon Sigma) where talented ambient artists throughout the world have submitted a track to help relieve the tension of innocents affected by this Israeli strife in Gaza, though the UNRWA. Families devastated by heavy shelling and violence in Gaza are in urgent need of safe drinking water and food. And as always, children are suffering most. Our aim is to help raise support for the rebuilding of schools and provide clean drinking water. With your support, every little counts. #SaveGaza #ChildrenOfGaza #UNRWA
Its an excellent cause, and the album is Here to buy :)
Ok then thats it for this update! Maybe I'll see you one of the Staurday nights in the chat box for the new show, until next time...
