First blog! New Website!

Hello everyone!!

This is the first blog on the new website! I'm a bit happy with how all this turned out, as its my third attempt to actually build anything, and this time it may actually work. Wonders will never cease :)

So then, whats been happening. Well as usual its all go here at JAM (thats Jeff Appleton Music... it might catch on) what with actually building the website and then going through all the music to put onto it. And so to the music...

Jeff Appleton wise there will be a new album later in the year, and this will not be free as all of the others have been. It will be a very nominal sum though, maybe 50p per track, and the whole thing will be less than a £5. All the other tracks on the profiles will remain free as long as I can make them so, but all of those tracks will eventually be registered with PRS for royalty collection.

On the Dyrct front there will also be a new album later in the year called Twenty Two. This is going to be an album of cover versions, kind of an homage to the music and bands I've listened to and loved over the years. There will be another teaser coming soon to go with Stranger on the Shore, and I can tell you its a bit of an instrumental synthpop classic, and the new version is banging!

Its all quiet over at Pas de la Dame Sauvage... but something may be coming at the end of the year... thats all I have on that front (its not, I'm trying to build the suspense).

The biggest new I save for last. The FourPointZero Delivery EP has been out for a week and its in over 27 online stores. I have no idea how well it is doing, but there will be a second release on Half Ass Pop records. There will hopefully be 3 FourPointZero mixes featured on EP's on the label in the near future, along with the exclusive track Be Free on the free EP available from the Half Ass Pop site.

Thats it for today! Gonna pop off and try and get this all published so you can actually read what I'm writing.

Laters :)

J
